Board and BDCC Nominations Announced
Following the calling for nominations for the Federal positions as advised in the Notice to Members on 30 September 2025 and at the close of nominations at 5pm AEDT Thursday 16th October 2025, being 35 days prior to the Annual General Meeting and in accordance with Rule 50 (6), I disclose the names of the candidates who have nominated for the Board and the Breed Development and Conformation Committee (BDCC).
Holstein Australia Board
Nominations were received for the Board from:
- Bill Morgan (Waterloo, Bamawm, VIC)
- Craig Cochrane (Parrabel, Nowra, NSW)
- Philip Hall (Roblynne, Harvey, WA)
- Victoria Patten (Ryanna, Lardner, VIC)
- Garry Carpenter (Garerley, North Motton, TAS).
As the number of nominations exceeded the number of vacancies, in accordance with Rule 50 (10) a ballot is required for the Board.
Breed Development & Conformation Committee
Nominations were received for the BDCC from:
- Damien Henry (Eastern Star, Tinamba, VIC)
- Wes Brown (Juleanwes, Tamworth, NSW)
As the number of nominations did not exceed the number of vacancies, in accordance with Rule 62 (2), a ballot is not required for the BDCC.
The results of the ballot will be announced at the Annual General Meeting on Thursday 20 November 2025 and recorded in the minutes of the meeting.
